Timing cyclists is a challenge - especially as they ride at high speeds, often bunched together. It is difficult to track cyclists who have withdrawn from an event, or who have an accident.
The IPICO Sports race timing system employs RFID technology to track cyclists in
real-time throughout the race from specific locations along the course. These results can then be published on a computer, display board, or on the internet.
